Is all the food at Taza halal?
Yes. Every meat item at Taza is 100% halal certified. This applies to our dine-in menu, takeout, and all catering orders. There is no separate halal menu because everything is halal. For Eid and Ramadan catering, you can be confident that the food served to your family and community meets halal standards.
How far in advance should I order Eid catering?
We recommend placing Eid catering orders at least 3-5 days in advance. Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha are our busiest catering days of the year, and we fill orders on a first-come, first-served basis. For very large orders (80+ people), a week or more of notice is ideal. Call us at (703) 340-1014 as soon as you know your date and headcount.
Can you deliver to my mosque for Ramadan iftar?
Yes. We regularly deliver iftar catering to mosques and community centers across Northern Virginia, including Dar Al-Hijrah, ADAMS Center, and others. We time deliveries to arrive before Maghrib. For recurring Ramadan orders, we can set up a weekly or daily delivery schedule for the entire month.
What is the minimum order for Eid catering?
For delivery catering, we generally recommend a minimum that serves at least 10-15 people. However, we are flexible. Call us with your headcount and budget and we will work something out. For smaller gatherings, pickup from our Falls Church location is always an option with no minimum.
Do you provide plates, utensils, and napkins?
Yes. For catering orders, we provide disposable plates, utensils, napkins, and serving utensils. Everything arrives ready to serve. For large Eid events, we also set up the spread at your location so the food is presented properly when guests arrive.
Can you accommodate vegetarian or gluten-free guests?
Absolutely. Our menu has extensive vegetarian options: falafel, hummus, baba ghanouj, labneh, za'atar manaeesh, spinach pies, rice, and salads. Many of these are also naturally gluten-free. When you place your Eid catering order, tell us about your group's dietary needs and we will build a menu that works for everyone.

For locations in DC or Maryland, call us to discuss availability. We do our best to accommodate every request, especially during Eid.
