The Name Says It All
Taza Means Fresh
When we opened Taza Shawarma & Falafel in 2019, we had a simple goal: bring the authentic, vibrant flavors of our childhood to Falls Church. We could not find the kind of shawarma and falafel we grew up eating -- the kind where everything is made fresh, from scratch, every single day.
So we built it ourselves. We named it Taza, the Arabic word for fresh, because freshness is not just our standard -- it is our identity. From the pita baked daily in our own oven to the falafel fried to order and the shawarma that marinates overnight on our vertical spit, everything at Taza is prepared with care, tradition, and love.
Today, we are proud to serve the Falls Church community and all of Northern Virginia with food that is wholesome, delicious, and 100% halal. Every plate that leaves our kitchen carries the flavors of home.
